1.1 These terms of use set out the legally binding contract between Space Kitchens and you in relation to its “Free Kitchen” competition (“the competition”).
1.2. You will be deemed to accept these terms if you enter the competition.
1.3 Space Kitchens may make changes to these terms from time to time. The most up to date version will be available from us or on our website www.space-kitchens.co.uk. You should check the terms regularly and if you enter the competition after the date of any change it will be on the new terms.
1.4 Any personal information that you provide to us will be treated in accordance with current UK Data Protection legislation, and will not be disclosed to a third party without your consent.
2. Competition rules
2.1 The competition is organised by Space Kitchens Ltd, Sett End Road, Shadsworth Business Park, Blackburn, Lancashire BB1 2QJ.
2.2 Space Kitchens reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or these rules at any time without prior notice.
2.3 In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, competition notice, conduct and result, the decision of Space Kitchens shall be final and no other correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
2.4 To qualify for entry you must order a ‘plan & design kitchen’ from Space Kitchens on or after 11th March 2008, have it fitted by the closing date, and answer a question correctly when asked by Space Kitchen’s representative during their initial visit.
2.5 The question is: “What thickness are the panels of the cabinets used in Space Kitchens?”
2.6 The closing date for entry to the competition is Friday 17th April 2008.
2.7 A winner will be chosen at random by a presenter on the next live show after the closing date. All correct and valid entries received by the closing date will automatically be included.
2.8 Employees of Space Kitchens, Ideal Shopping Direct Plc, or any company involved in the competition, any advertising agency or web company connected with Space Kitchens are not eligible to enter. Space Kitchens reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
2.9 The prize is the cash value of the kitchen that has been fitted by Space Kitchens, to a maximum value of £12,000. If the winner has paid less than £12,000 for their fitted kitchen, they will receive cash equal to the total amount they have paid to Space Kitchens for this fitted kitchen. If the winner has paid more than £12,000 for their fitted kitchen, they will receive £12,000.
2.10 The winner will be announced on the next live ‘Space Kitchens’ show broadcast on ‘Ideal World’ on channels Sky Digital 634, Virgin TV 747, and Freeview 22.The prize winner will also be notified personally by telephone on the next working day after the announcement. The winner’s name will be published on the Space Kitchens website.
2.11 The prize is non-transferable, and will be paid to the winner within 7 calendar days of the draw.
2.12 Space Kitchens cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting the prize.
2.13 Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Space Kitchens reserves the right to use the names and addresses of the winners, their photographs and audio and/visual recordings of them in any publicity.
3.1 These terms constitute the whole legal agreement between you and Space Kitchens in relation to your entry to the ‘Free Kitchen’ competition.
3.2 Nothing in these terms exclude or limit Space Kitchens’ liability for losses which may not be excluded or limited by applicable law. Subject to this, Space Kitchens shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage which may be suffered by you in relation to your entry to the Competition, including indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit , loss of goodwill or business reputation, or loss of data suffered by you.
3.3 These terms shall be governed by English law. Space Kitchens and you agree to submit to the non- exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England to resolve any legal matter arising from these terms.
